Château de Suscinio.

The chateau de suscinio has a long and interesting history going back to the 14 and 15th centuries. It involves Kings and Queens and the kingdoms of England, France and Brittany. The chateau fell into ruins and after the French Revolution was sold to a merchant who started selling it stone by stone. Restoration work is in progress.

It was a watermain break that muddied up the koi pond. The tap water rushed into the pool downslope and flooded it. The chlorine in the tap water killed off the algae and plants that were growing at the bottom and stuck to the gills of the fish and a couple of them died. I met Travis, he calls himself the “pond guy” and he explained what happened and how he has tried to restore the koi pond.
