Contentment: Breath Meditations.
Sentient beings ought to be content. The irony is palpable. Content has come to mean something very different from the original meaning of contentment. Here I refer to it as in satisfied, satiated, flourishing, thriving.
I created a Breathing Meditation, my first ever extended video on YouTube.

Video Description: In a world filled with the cacophony of short bits and bytes, join me for an extended period of relaxation and introspection. In this session, we explore the profound connection between our breathing and our thoughts, and how modulating one can deeply influence the other. Discover a series of meditative visualizations—from the "Apex and Root" of a breath to the "Leaf Meditation," where we acknowledge the scientific and spiritual symbiosis we share with the plants around us. Whether you are in a lush garden or a concrete landscape, these techniques are designed to help you find contentment and quiet the mind. In this video, we discuss: The connection between breathing speed and mental energy. The "Apex and Base" breathing technique: watching thoughts at the peak and valley. Symbiotic Meditation: Exchanging oxygen and carbon dioxide with the natural world. The "Tree Meditation": Visualizing the trunk, leaves, and roots to ground your thoughts. Reflections on evolution, the fragility of our lungs, and the search for true contentment. Take a deep breath, settle in, and let's explore the quiet together. #Meditation #BreathingExercises #Mindfulness #Contentment #NatureMeditation #Rocky301J
