You see the “I” do you? Would you have seen it here: personaI? Be honest. Honesty to your own self is well deserved, in fact at times it’s a luxury of sorts. “Can I think that now?” is a far more important question in an age of mind reading than “can I say that now?”

Trump created AI Force a couple of days ago in a fit of Howard Dean sort of glee. “We are gonna do it, we are, just wait and watch, AI will be 25% of the economy” sort of bluster. Among other things, I am sorry to say, it shows a lack of understanding of what an economy is and what algorithms are. Does my saying algorithms end with “her majesty’s service” help things? If you woke up and that’s the first headline you saw “Trump announces AI Force”, what did you think of: Cyber Force, Space Force, Air Force or something else? Were you then subsequently disappointed when it was to be led by an “AI Tsar” and not a “General 5 Star”? Tsars in America don’t have a very good reputation. And they are rarely named Dmitry. It’s amazing that Sergey was allowed to form Google.

Then again, when it was formed in a garage, no one actually thought it would become the behemoth that it has. You know what Google shares with Apple? They both end in “le”.

Anyway, Space Cadets, Trump has new uniforms for you, pants are optional. I wonder what AI Force will wear. To the person who sent me the thought that America could have the population of China, the deficit of about a billion people can be made up with AI Agents, I think you’re correct. David Brin wrote a science fiction short story about that more than a decade ago.

Interpersonal relationshionships. PersonaI Finance. It’s a whole new world out there. Is Sentient Musings an AI Agent messaging board? I think that’s unlikely.
