This is not another Mark Wahlberg reference in the title although when I invoke his name the words following often are narrated in his voice. Not quite sure how that happens. If you as a reader have not had that experience, you’re lucky.

I won’t provide the link here but there is an article about surgeon’s assistants making 22,000/hr. The surgeon makes 9K for one surgery while the assistants make over 190K for the same surgery. Really? What sort of things they say in arbitration? The assistant did most of the work like prepping the patients, cleaning the blood, sutures etc while the surgeon just made some precise cuts?

There is this human affliction of not wanting others to prosper. I am not quite sure why that is. We’re quite happy to with schadenfreude. But when other’s strike gold?
