Words… “to get” and “to deserve”
Carlin once said: “You get the leaders you deserve; AND you deserve the leaders you get”.
I thought that was rather anachronistic that he himself had given up hopes and left it all to a random asteroid to destroy the System. The System decides the leaders we get. You know this to be true, somewhere deep down in the sleeping sheeple heart of yours. Or soul of yours. Or whatever. Every single one of these so called leaders are products of the System. Every single one of them has murdered … well let’s call them animals. Because otherwise it would be an accusation. Some are undeserving of accusations. They have murdered the American Spirit. How’s that? Better or Worse? I mean you murder an animal or a plant every time you eat don’t you? I don’t mean cannibalism, although there is a museum in Balboa Park dedicated to of all things Cannibalism. It’s next to a nice little cafe. And the statue of a Knight with a spear. The spear is raised to the heavens in helplessness.
Here’s the thing about sycophancy. You could literally have the name Bowman previously like Vance did, yet you could still be a sycophant. Perhaps deep down in your Catholic heart you are deep undercover in the MAGA crowd. Yet I made that mistake with Trump. I presumed too many things about what he was not saying. I ignored the things he was saying because they couldn’t possibly be true. A former President could not be making fun of children with Down’s Syndrome or calling soldiers who died in combat as losers. He had to mean the opposite didn’t he? So I didn’t take him at his word. He called Latinos trash and I presumed it was some sort of code about Spanish garbage pickers. In others words, many communities, adopt their worst insults and live by them as an insider code. Like only niggers know. Or monkeys. Or orangutans. Or whatever.
That’s the thing about presuming things. And once you’ve voted, you get what the System wanted to give you anyway. That’s the beauty of it. The choices are Kamala or Trump. Pick one. In the next race it will be Gavin or Vance. Pick one.
And here’s the predictable thing. They will run on soundbites. There will be no serious discussions of what America faces, the rotten tree that is now choking America, how its almost too late in the timeline etc. They will speak positively about their plans or like Trump negatively. And offer either hope or destruction of the swamp that is the System. And yet the System itself produced them. There is no one who is truly outside the System who is capable of understanding the System fully and overcoming it. The common people of America have no chance. Even if you get a President elected somehow, magically, that President will still have to deal with Congress, Senate and the Supreme Court. That President will still have to contend with The Federal Reserve that is a collection of foreign banks that print American electrons known as USD.
And hence Carlin’s asteroid.
