Britain to end rough sleeping.

I did not know that Andy Burnham was a lifelong Roman Catholic and the first to become Prime Minister of Great Britain. Ever since the Tudors and the English version of “Off with her head” Ann Boleyn has never been the same. Britain broke with Rome and the Protestants were in. What? The man wanted a divorce and Rome wouldn’t grant it. If you are a man or woman or a whatever of a certain type of ego, not getting something is truly upsetting. Like a cat whose favorite ball of threads get taken away. I am allergic to cats, please don’t log in. It will cause an asthma attack and I already don't breathe very well. Taking an inhaler is not the healthiest for our health.

Anyway, Prime Minister Burnham has pledged to end rough sleeping, the British name for sleeping on the streets if you’re homeless. Ending rough sleeping doesn’t end the housing shortage. Some days it feels like … anyway.

In San Diego there are places where people sleep in cars in certain marked parking lots. They are not technically “rough sleeping”. I have posted a video about that previously. America, my country, cannot seem to muster up the will and the votes to truly end the housing crisis by not simply removing people from cars and streets, but into genuine homes that are affordable. If a home can cost 13K in Abruzza, Italy I don’t see why it would not be possible to have exactly the same in any part of America. There are ways to create that without crashing the housing price. Vienna and Helsinki have both done it in different ways. Singapore has done it too in yet another way.

From The Ghost of Karl Marx:
The exchange value of a commodity estimated in money is called its price. Wages therefore are only a special name for the price of labour-power, and are usually called the price of labour; it is the special name for the price of this peculiar commodity, which has no other repository other than human flesh and blood.
