Check out of Sick Care.

If you live in America then you are checked into a system of sick care whether you realize it or not. I should probably say allegedly checked in to a system of sick care. Not that I don’t have freedom of speech guaranteed by the First Amendment but a statement like that has a systemic feel to it.

The "free speech amendment" is the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Ratified in 1791, it prevents the government from abridging freedom of speech or the press. You can read its full text directly on Congress.gov. [12]

Key details of what the First Amendment actually means include:

  • Government Censorship: It protects citizens from government censorship, allowing you to criticize public officials and express unpopular opinions. [123]

  • Private Entities: It applies only to the government. Private employers and social media companies can legally set their own speech rules and content policies. [123]

Exceptions: It does not protect true threats, incitement to imminent lawless action, fighting words, or obscenity. [123]

One of the key tenets of being a good executive is that you take a Big Hairy Audacious Goal put it on the back of a napkin and consider its ramifications over lunch. I didn’t get here by being smart. Then if you’re a spy, one puts it into a copy of the Wall Street Journal and tosses it into a trash bin. What? I was just throwing away my lunch musings and the Journal. They’re both pretty worthless. The Journal’s one use is when the Fed throws up a balloon. That everyone already knows is coming. And yet it allows for conversation. Say Jeremy did you read that article by Ari Waller in the journal about the speculated rate increase? Or you just toss your mate a couple of quarters. No need to say a damn thing. The mate raises their eyebrows and you shake your head affirming No. I have no idea why the System sacrifices a few green beans every now and again. The real pros don’t even say a damn word.

Or at least that’s how I imagine things might truly happen in movies.
Movie from a MI6 scene at Moskova Park: Sir you dropped some coins. I assure you my dear man, they aren’t mine. Pretty sure I saw them drop from your pocket. I think you’re mistaken, I don’t carry loose change. The man sitting on the bench doesn’t move or say a word.

First Amendment

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

“A redress of grievances” that what it was for. It was never meant to be protection for burning the flag, stomping on it into the mud, desecrating sacred religious sites and so on. You’re feeling aggrieved? You have a right to state why directly to the Government. And so here I am clearly stating I am feeling that. And the reason is the food and water is filled with un-necessary chemicals that are keeping me and my fellow Americans in a system of sick care. And when the injury is not additive it is subtractive. Making whole wheat flour into enriched flour is a subtractive process by which the nutrients are removed and all that is left is gluten and sugar.

So let’s see, the air is poisoned, the tap water is filterated, the food is preserved. Deep ocean mining and drilling is now commonplace, deep sea fishing and trawling are highly prejudicial to sea life, shale oil and regular oil and gas drilling continue to provide jobs and job security, wars are fought for no reason that lead to increased prices via an increase in the price of gasoline, temperatures are so hot that Europe has become like Africa for the summer yet will probably return back to Arctic temperatures in the winter, the hurricane and tornado seasons are upon us, the wildfires are raging in many parts of the world and we want to put hundreds and thousands of satellites into orbit because we can. Meanwhile 44% of the world’s population lives with a lifestyle of what it might feel like to live on $7/day in America.

That about it? That’s not too shabby if you think of prawg=ress. And pro=gress. (you have to see the video I posted and hear it to get the joke).

So… with all that negativity… how about I get you a Revolutionary Lunch Menu that will get you out of Sick Care?
Revolutionary Lunch: All organic French Beans, Asparagus and Baby Broccoli all lightly steamed in water. Add coconut oil, salt and wood fired garlic for taste. This is what it looks like and it’s tasty.
Note: The only rebellion allowed is eating what the system does not want us to eat. Breakfast is usually one peach. Today it was three sticks of celery with peanut butter for fiber.

Move from Sick Care to Health Care.
