Relationships in the System.
There is a consistent theme here at Sentient Musings. The theme is that the universe is governed by relationships between various parameters, subjects, objects, entities, forces, dimensions, matter, time and other things we may not understand. Read enough of these essays in an evening and you’ll start to see the glimmer of that architecture. It is our firm conviction that everything is connected to everything else.
Human life on earth for example is a series of threads that weave a tapestry. There an individual threads, nodal threads, institutional threads, national threads and global threads. And while every institution is comprised of individuals, the institutions themselves have their own set of memories, behaviors, idiosyncrasies, life spans and charters. The System as we refer to it here, is Global in nature, individual in impact. As I mention in the video I took yesterday, I am uncertain why I have been allowed to discuss the System at all. It’s not my preferred way to spend my time, when I could be engaged in play. That too is discussed in the video. Since Google suggests that the average time spent on this site is somewhere between 1 hour and 02 minutes and 2 hours and 10 minutes, the reader should skip it and go do leg day. Or back day. Or bicep day. Or tricep day. Or core day. Or a combination of them.
The FT today gave up a nice young fella by the name of George Cottrell. Sometimes the System gives up their own like a pawn sacrifice in a game of chess. I am quite aware of my own status as a pawn. Anyway, if you are feeling playful here is George’s story in pictures.
George was having a not so pleasant day on the 22nd of July 2016. He was in attendance at the Republican National Convention with Nigel Farage when the IRS Criminal Investigation Unit arrested him at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. By December of that year prosecutors somehow agreed to dismiss most of the charges except one for wire fraud. In March 2017 he was released.
He then went on to become head of funds at UKIP and then eventually to his chief of staff.
As an interesting aside, if you combine Ben Affleck and my face(s) you get George’s visage.
Bloodlines jokes are everywhere. Hello jokes out there.
Tivat is in Montenegro southeast of Dubrovnik. The road connecting those two towns is Jadranska Magistrala.
Cottrell was serving those 8 months in Arizona for wire fraud when he must have met Mark Brnovich, the attorney-general of Arizona at that time. George eventually went on to write a book about “How to Launder Money: A Guide for Law Enforcement, Prosecutors and Policymakers”. Cottrell described Brnovich as a “mentor”.
Trump eventually picked Mark Brnovich as ambassador to Serbia.
The FT article goes on to discuss crypto companies and other shady business dealings in Montenegro.
While Montenegro is not classified as a traditional offshore tax haven by the OECD or the European Union, it operates as one of the most highly competitive, low-tax jurisdictions in Europe. The country deliberately pairs a business-friendly environment with affordable paths to residency to actively attract international entrepreneurs, digital nomads, and high-net-worth investors. Brnovich’s ambassadorial nomination was ultimately dropped, and he died earlier this year from a heart attack, his family said. A YouGov poll published on Friday found that 73 per cent of Britons, including 40 per cent of Reform voters, now view Farage as sleazy.
