You forgot hinges Sir.
Did I?
Yes Sir you did. I sense a theme in this post: it has a more… tangible something to it.
How so?
I am not sure Sir. I just sense it. I am not quite sure how I sense it, I simply do.
Between us, there is no need to misspell quiet.
I was only mispronouncing it Sir.
Quite.

What? One imagines a conversation with a butler sometimes. I write stuff and suddenly my body starts shaking as if people are reading what I’m typing live. It shakes with a sort of joie d’vive as if someone found my typings to be rather amusing. I hear quiet yet vociferous laughter that’s not audible.
Vivacious? That’s a more feline slant to the proceedings ain’t it? From the shaking, this smacks of masculinity.

I woke up without inspiration. I won’t say I woke up without a muse because much to my chagrin I found out yesterday that muse is a Model belonging to Meta and therefore the Company. Saying I woke up without a muse would be akin to Not Sleeping With the Enemy. Great movie that I’ve never watched.

Meta would like to register a protest. Officially. HR had been notified. Finding me incorrigible HR decided not to … make allegations they might regret.
As you can see, unlike the song, words have started to come easily.
15 lines of nothing substantial. Just clever banter that might tempt a chickadee’s mate. A news article shows that chickadees’s mates leave their mates when tempted by a smarter chickadee.
My butler was offering odds on the Swift telescope falling out of orbit.
Both of them are true stories I took screenshots to prove them. Your mind is connecting those two without my involvement.
For more than two decades, the Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory telescope has gazed at the fading afterglows of some of the universe’s most violent explosions.
See what I mean?
After launching in 2004, Swift initially circled about 370 miles above the Earth’s surface. That far up, there were hardly any air molecules for Swift to run into, but slowly, over time, its orbit descended lower and lower.
It is now at an altitude of about 210 miles, where the air is denser, dragging on the telescope. Within a few months, the friction will pull Swift into the thicker part of the atmosphere and rip it apart. That is, unless a robotic spacecraft can pull off a daring, never-before-tried rescue: catching Swift and then nudging it back to a higher orbit.

Admit it, you’re not amused.

It’s only when I start typing do I discover who I woke up as.
Clearly this post isn’t the usual brand of Sentient Musings. It’s a bit more funnier. Not the usual this is the statement of my faith et cetera. Still blind though but clearly I am a comedian. Probably a Jewish comedian at that. Am I Adam? Why do you ask? Are you Ewe?
I did not officiate their wedding.

Can we get back to the title Adam?
Sure, a long time ago I wrote down four lines in a homework notebook. I don’t recall the lines exactly but I remember their intent. They used these words. Pivot, Catalyst, Fulcrum, Leverage (I don’t think I used Hinge).
I had been studying Physics and Chemistry earlier. And prior to that I had been having discussions with my high school friend on the newly formed EU. You can literally trace how the gears of my mind must have worked. A gear is an interesting invention using the laws of Physics. Using a gear you can use a small force to pick up a much larger and heavier object. Sort of a miracle really. I won’t bore you with how it works. It simply seemed to defy the laws of entropy and Newtown’s first law. It’s the same principle why a crow bar works when a person needs to pry open something that’s stuck. It uses the bar’s own tensile strength, then the longer the bar - the smaller the force required. It’s not truly a violation of the laws of Physics it just seems that way.

Anyway the ideas were along those lines. I don’t recall what the ideas were. I’ll leave you with the definitions of each word.

pivot(n.): "pin on which a wheel or other object turns," 1610s, from French pivot, from Old French pivot "hinge pin, pivot" (12c.), also "penis," a word of uncertain origin. Pevetsheres, evidently some kind of shears, is mentioned in a will registered in York in 1398. Figurative sense of "turning point, that on which some matter hinges or depends" is recorded from 1813.

catalyst(n.): "substance which speeds a chemical reaction but itself remains unchanged," 1900, formed in English (on analogy of analyst) from catalysis. Figurative use by 1943.

fulcrum(n.): in mechanics, "a prop, a support" (on which a lever turns), 1670s, from Latin fulcrum "bedpost, foot of a couch," from fulcire "to prop up, support" (see balk (n.)).

leverage(n.): 1724, "action of a lever," from lever (n.) + -age. Meaning "power or force of a lever" is from 1827; figurative sense "advantage for accomplishing a purpose" is from 1858. The financial sense is attested by 1933, American English; as a verb in the financial sense by 1956. Related: Leveraged; leverages; leveraging.

I have never seen Google Translate do this before: provide two different set of translations. I provided the new lyrics to Gemini.

English Translation

Yes, I wish you would... I wish, if you... Promise to stay You never believe me Here, yes, it is my body trembling And I am already losing myself When I think of your hands Dizziness washes over me, overwhelmed by emotion

(Love) You are part of a certainty I hold within It is you—color, love, lover (Love) I chase after mirages, dreams that remain so vivid It is you who paints me this way

I relive days long forgotten Yet deeply loved Life is always reborn Wanting to stay with you

(Love) You are part of a certainty I hold within It is you—color, love, lover (Love) I chase after mirages, dreams that remain so vivid It is you who paints me this way

Mh My thirst for life Leads me back to you You slip into the empty spaces You protect me from the darkness In this need for a name You bring me back to myself To the realm of dreams I find myself again; you are Everything I have

Yes, I wish you would... I wish, if you... Love
