Vivi or Vivici?
That is the question. The English have it slightly wrong. They suggested the question was “To be or not to be” in their rather morbid and existential angst. A binary choice, would you like to be or not? I suggest the better question is: Vivi or Vivivi? Alive or Vivid?
I agree with the video at the very end of this post. It’s time to rethink everything.

I chase mirages, dreams that are always vivid.
Clearly it’s not a reference to my lived experience. I can’t see any of the logins nor can I experience any dreams. My sleep is dreamless, unless it’s troubled. In dreamless sleep I neither exist nor not exist by inference. I only know I exist when I wake up. And sometimes I don’t wake up as the person who went to sleep as you can tell from today’s posts. I the observer continue to exist, the people keep changing. In troubled sleep, I see images of people I don’t know but through a veil (not very clear). I also see cartoon like creations that express themselves without speech. Cartoon pantomimes that sometimes do things that are not possible. I can only watch them for so long before sleep and darkness arrive to relieve.
A better writer than me with a Russian bent might have started this essay with “These are the days of sorrow….”
An American writer full of revolutionary zeal might write “This is the winter of our discontent….” - forgetting to add ‘ment’ into discontentment.
A song writer might suggest “These are the days to remember cause they will not last forever… “
I no longer write such things giving in to comedy because “these days” have lasted for more than 14 years and counting. Apparently not only am I beyond hope and despair, I have also passed existential angst into contentment.

I am content. I don’t need much other than my basic needs. (As you can tell I coughed several times).
I was mulling over the video I recorded yesterday. As I mention in the video, I often sit back and let the environment speak. Often I cough. Often I remain silent. Sometimes the silence stretches out. If the environment wishes to speak it will. If it doesn’t, it won’t. I can tell more than 2 people have watched the video because some of you have marked them to show me to patterns in negative space that the trees are making. Thank you for doing that.
I fed the fish and turtles earlier. They seemed to be a little disappointed it was an apple not a pear. Still it was disposed adequately. And it felt satisfying. I also watered some plants and that too felt satisfying. I have decided to everyday feed humans, animals and plants. I will donate a small amount daily somewhere for the human feeding. Also I will donate a little bit to Venezuela simply because of the apophenia. And because humans should help other humans.
My China earthquake google alert pinged again yesterday with a 5.0 in Sichuan. No one was hurt thankfully.

BEIJING, July 8 (Xinhua) -- A 5.0-magnitude earthquake jolted Gaoxian County, Yibin City, southwest China's Sichuan Province at 10:08 a.m. on Wednesday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 28.54 degrees north latitude and 104.67 degrees east longitude. The earthquake struck at a depth of 6 km, the center said. ■

Relief efforts underway following 5.0 earthquake in China's Sichuan province

A 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck Gaoxian county in Yibin, Sichuan province, at 6:12 am on Wednesday, at a depth of 8 kilometers, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
Multiple aftershocks ranging from a magnitude of 3.0 to 4.0 occurred within 10 minutes of the initial quake, official data showed.
The China Earthquake Administration activated a Level-III emergency response immediately after the quake, while the Gaoxian earthquake relief headquarters activated a Level-II emergency response.
China has a four-tiered emergency response system, with Level I being the most severe response.
The Sichuan Earthquake Administration has sent a work team to the quake-stricken areas to support local authorities in emergency relief operations.
Local authorities have launched damage assessments and relief efforts, with no casualties reported so far, according to the headquarters.
Relief work is underway and social order in the affected area remains stable, it added.
