Testosterone for the men, birth control for the women.
I don’t know what they’ve done to my brain. I find patterns in the darnest things. You dear reader don’t really understand. I put these two articles side by side and for you a lightbulb click on…. aha… this is a really messed up blog you think to yourself. Admit it. I hear the best rated of your comments usually after I wake up.
Anyway, the DOW, no not that DOW, the Department of War passed an order for American soldiers over 30 that they shall be tested for testosterone deficiency and if found lacking shall be supplemented. Now please… may I have your attention… I have suffered from boob and nipple twiddling for many years now… then again I am not a soldier. They brainwashed me into the habit. They brainwashed me into a lot of things, this was simply an added perk. There was a time when I thought this had to do with low testosterone. I had it checked. It is on the lower side the doc said but not enough to warranty supplementation. I want it anyway. He explained the side effects. Son, if you take testosterone supplements, it will reduce your body’s ability to produce its own testosterone. The body will say to itself… I am getting this from the supplements, I don’t need to make the damn stuff. And then it won't. Is that what you truly want? I was young and stupid. Yes I said.
Much later, I had started researching a bunch of things including diets, chemicals in the food supply, GMOs, statins and a lot more. I found strange things. The US Army adopted the symbol of commerce and death the Caduceus as its official medical logo. They replaced the original Rod of Asclepius the symbol of the God of Healing with the Caduceus. I couldn’t believe it. Why would the Army do that? It makes no sense. I am not going to provide you links. Better you go down that particular rabbit hole yourself. Yet everything I have written is true. The question then is do symbols have meaning or not? The ER at hospitals has The Rod. Doctors display the Cad. What gives?
I am sure the medical doctors in the military discussed all this. Well maybe not the symbols but surely they discussed the symptoms (troops have low testosterone, some are unhealthy, etc). Yet those are just the symptoms. A fever is a symptom of the body trying to kill germs, an infection is usually the cause. If troops are presenting with some issues, those are the upper layer of symptoms. What is the cause? That is how a medical discussion ought to go. Every competent doctor knows what I am saying. If you want true and long term healing, treat the cause not the symptom.
Birth control is also interesting. There is something about attraction that requires chemicals. The fact that a woman is receptive in the sense of being reproductively available, cause the males to become extremely excited. Every dog owner who has sterilized their dog knows why they’ve done that. If you don't sterilize the females, they tell you that she’ll drive the male dogs crazy with her “scent”. And yet human women take these hormones to kill their reproductive ability. It essentially kills attraction in married couples and it wouldn’t surprise me if the husbands lose their testosterone as a side effect. Their bodies say… hey she is not gonna produce, doesn’t have the chems, why should my body have the chems? That’s root cause analysis, not symptomatic treatment.
I don’t have all the answers. The reader can do their own thinking. I firmly believe that the more you mess with the body’s natural rhythms, natural chemicals, circadian cycles and so on.. the worse off we will be. I also can’t explain why my sexuality is so different than what it was before my firstborn was borne. This blog has never claimed to be the truth and nothing but the truth. It does present a point of view. The reader is meant to think for themselves critically. Does what I wrote make sense to you? Think through it with reason, rationality and logic.
Truth and Trust have no value.
