The hidden war merges with the kinetic wars.

I am not a self-deprecating wag usually, although I do enjoy it. A self deprecating person either likes humiliation and would rather do it themselves or they have so much ego that they feel bringing it down a notch is probably like going to confession. Having confessed to having both those faculties and neither of those I will suggest this… I have never been dragged to a party in women’s clothes although given how things have been I may not even care, beard and all. Humiliation after all is what feeds our egos. I am better than you. I mean I must be because look… I have never attended war college, never been to a war seminar, never could afford a subscription to Jane’s Defense Weekly or Jane’s Hedge Fund. I have however played RISK as a teenager. And read British Commando comics. So I am not your average Comic Con groupie. See? That’s again my ego talking.

Anyway this will be a short post. Here are the events I have noticed in the news.

There is and has been a hidden war between America and China for a long time. (See previous post).
China’s proxy North Korea has troops against Ukraine. China is providing intelligence and targeting support and armaments to Iran. China is also supplying Russia and Russia is supply China with oil. Iran is also supplying and receiving arms from Russia and China via the Caspian Sea. Russia is fighting Ukraine. Ukraine bombed an Iranian ship. Romania shot down Russian drones. A Russian missile crashed in Poland. America is bombing Iran allied with Israel. Israel is moving into souther Syria and Lebanon. An unidentified drone hit Egypt. Iran bombed the American bases in Jordan. Jordan parliament members protested the American alliance with Israel and want the Americans gone. America and Saudi Arabia bombed Iranian supporters in Iraq.

At what point do we say… hmmm… this is bigger than I thought. Not that Trump actually thinks but still it’s worth pondering if the Generals or Hegseth or Ratcliff or Adams (DIA) are putting this map together for him. Or will it be up to us, the readers to tell him that this will escalate to nuclear at some point? And to America’s great benefit, we will have Trump in charge of the nuclear football. Yeah that’s a game we ought to play in RISK.

Notes in the margin: China as usual plays wars through proxies. While our dear leader under the thrall of another dear leader is directly engaged with fighting in Iran.
