I have to watch it, I am sort of getting addicted to how easy The New York Times is making it. I may need a detox from the hatred they seem to spread.

Perhaps they cater only to an international audience who may simply look at these news items and try to glean a message from the fragmentation.

Subconscious Message: Hatred and Racism is ‘sexy’. With newspapers like these….

I’ll explain what I feel as residual impressions without reading any of the articles and without also fully understanding the context. Jefferson is the guy who was mostly English but also helped write the Declaration of Independence and other Founding documents. He was the 3rd President or up there and died along with Adams on the same day July 4th. Presumably for his writings. He liked to have sex with his slaves and presumably loved some of them, but you know society. His first black descendent has now been buried at his estate. The surrounding articles — It’s like hiding a pearl in sewage.

As I said, I gotta stop doing this to myself. If it wasn’t for the people at The New York Times, I’d unsubscribe from The Times right now. Congratulations Arthur. Sorry A.G. Happy 175th. Your paper that your ancestors worked on has really become something special.
