I don’t know anyone at SOCOM. So it’s probably best to get right into the podcast. Green Berets are a type of special forces that are… linguists but with weapons. Or something like that. In essence, they are meant for operating in hostile territory. So are the rest of Special Forces… heavily kinetic and so on. Seals, Deltas, AF somethings, RECONS etc. GBerets are a bit different. Supposedly their training at West Point and other places is a bit more geared towards working closely with intelligence rather than just wham, bam thank you ma’am.
